OUR WEDDING ANNIVERSARY

Fresh from the night at Seaside Seafood at Macapagal, we decided to consume the Italiannis’ GC sent by my bestfriend for my birthday. She also sent for Serye and The Spa. Thanks Armie, you’re such a wonderful friend, miss you.

We had a late lunch at Italianni’s. We had a serving of their hot item, Sicilian Chicken Salad, the Seafood Pasta and the Baked Salmon. It was a sumptuous meal, we really enjoyed it. See the foods pics,

We thank you Lord for all of these….

Prayer for a Wedding Anniversary

“Heavenly Father, we thank You from the bottom of our hearts for your continued blessings on our union that have enabled us to reach another anniversary. We thank You for letting our love deepen and for helping us in time of trial. We know that without your assistance we would never have remained so close as we are.

We ask You to continue to watch over us, over our homes and families. Help us to renew our vows of love and loyalty and to strive to remain united with You, steadfast in our faith and in your service. Amen.”

Prayer for the Gift of a Child

“God of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob; God who created the universe and sustains it every money, we praise you, we thank you and we glorify you.

Lord, you who gave a child to Abraham, we thank you, we praise you. Seeing the tears of Hanna, Lord you gave her a child. Elizabeth who was barren in her old age, you blessed her with a child.

You who are the giver of all perfect gifts, we ask you to bless us with wonderful children, who will be your chosen instruments to spread your love. The days/months/years of our sorrow and pain for not having a child, we surrender it to you.

We forgive every person who has insulted us or made fun of us because we were not blessed with a child. Jesus, our Lord and Master, bless those who have hurt us. Fill them with your Holy Spirit.

Lord, whatever be the obstacle to have a child, let it be taken away from us right now with the power of Your precious blood and precious name.

Praise You Jesus. Thank You Jesus. Amen”

On the Eve of our Anniversary

Weeks before the d-day, my hubby told me he wanted to treat the whole family out. And as a suggestion from my sis-in-law, Dampa/Seaside was considered. So I checked the website for the restaurants at Seaside Seafood Resto along Macapagal Ave. There are plenty of them, and they have almost the same rates. June and I decided to have it on a Saturday, dinner, so we can have January 31 for us alone.

We left the house at around 8PM, quite late for a dinner. We were all hungry already, but we need to wait for my bro-in-law’s wife coming from work. Actually, she and her husband are not supposed to come based on the original plan, but we pity them they will miss the fun and this is the first time that all of my husband’s immediate family will dine out together. You just don’t know how happy June was. He’s been planning for this to happen for a long time. And it did. You can’t just imagine how we were able to fit in the van. There’s 17 of us all, and pleaseeee, don’t mention the size.. It’s a good thing, 4 of them are kids and the 2 nieces are slim, but the rest of us are all weightlifters….hahahaha.

We arrived at Seaside Paluto Restaurants at around 9PM. After choosing the resto, we proceeded at the market to buy the goods. Our dish is composed of shrimps, squid, crab, fish (maya-maya) and tuna belly. After dinner, we passed by at MOA just to hang. The kids tried the bungee jumping and the water balloon (?), don’t know what it’s called. We went home around 1AM of January 31, our 6th year wedding anniversary. It was a night of fun…and we were so happy my husband and I thought of having it again on our 7th Year.

May God permit.

China, Part 2

Here are some of my pics during my stay in China.

This one is with Uncle Sam, so sad I was not able to take picture of Peter and Alex (Jiaxing)..my gratitude to them for taking care of me while I’m there.

On the 8th of Dec, I’m Shenzhen-bound. Need to take a plane from Hangzhou Airport to Shenzhen.. that’s a 2-hour ride. You can just imagine how big China is, using a plane just to go to other provinces..

I arrived at Metropark at around 9PM. Very tired. I wanted to go out and meet with Mam Ann and Arlene, but my eyes can’t take it anymore they want to close it and rest. So I left Mam Ann and Arlene wondering and worrying if I safely arrived at Shenzhen, my apologies Mams.

Had a longer stay here in Shenzhen… Meet my new friends, Angel, Wendy..Dixon…Daniel and Sir Noel..Thank you all for welcoming me… Angel, you’re such a wonderful and beautiful friend. We’re pushing her to join the Global IMI pageant this year…I bet she will win…And, not to forget, she’s good in bargaining. We went to LouHu and she helped us buy our gifts, at a lower price.

These folks are some of the pictures…can’t give you the complete file….it’s stored here in my HEART….

Brenda a.k.a. Annie's Birthday Bash

At last, after so many guessing games, Brenda's birthday is actually the New Year's Day..... JANUARY 1, that is.
Few days after, we were treated to a sumptuos lunch at Guilly's. I'm attaching 2 shots at Guilly's  here since Thipuks don't want to post at PBB site (for the simple reason that he was not around that time.) Unfortunately we only have 2 shots, since we are all very hungry already and taking pictures is the last thing we want to do.

Last week, we gave her a cake eventhough it's quite late already. Anyway, better late than never.

Happy birthday Annie....i pray that your prayers be granted. Good health....

More birthdays to celebrate, more foods to eat....hehehe

An ENCHANTED Experience

Off we go to EK last Dec 27. With my nephew and niece in town and my in-laws, we headed to Enchanted Kingdom in the afternoon, arriving at EK at exactly 4PM. But what a sight, just at the parking area we already had a hard time, what more in the ticket sales area. Good thing, on that day there’s a special lane for government employees, and with a 20% discount. Another good thing is, my sister-in-law and her husband are both Gov’t employees. So the 2-hour waiting is reduced to half an hour. I did not go for the Ride-all-you-can pass which I might regret afterwards (due to long queue in each ride?, or maybe because I’m afraid? Which is which?)….
And when I saw the rides, I wanted to upgrade my pass…. But the long queue prevented me from doing so. Anyway, just the sight of the kids enjoying the rides is already enough for me. And the thought that my nephew and niece did not throw up is a happy note for me.
They first tried Up, Up and Away….then the Roller Skater..there’s the Rialto, Rio….and others which I can’t remember.

See our pictures…

Let's PARTY.....

Merry Christmas…. Happy New Year… Happy Three Kings….

Our Christmas party was held at Hard Rock CafĂ© and we were told to dress like a Rockstar… so Rockstar it is.. How do I look, did I pass? You judge. It was a night of fun and laughter… we had games, games, and games. Lots of it. And the prizes, all sweet chocolates..By the way, we missed Ate Glyna and Lou…they were not able to attend. Sad.

After our party, we went into the dance floor and dance and sang the night away….with The SILK.

Here are some of the photos.

China, an Unexpected Dream

Can't believe it...until now.. it's been weeks after my trip to China and it is still running in my veins.. even in my dreams, i did not see myself carrying my luggage and proceeding to the airport...you just don't know those sleepless nights full of fears and stress. but The Great Lord is so nice...on the day itself, there was never any hint of fear nor stress nor pressure. all that's left is the excitement.. homesick? oh, not much... it's covered with joy and enthusiasm...THIS IS MY FIRST PLANE RIDE!?!?

At the NAIA Terminal 2, i get to see the Philippine Team to the SEA Games... Oh, Efren Bata Reyes is there and also Djanggo Bustamante. There are co-passengers taking pictures with him.. my shyness butt in...i just took a picture of him from afar.
And there it goes, up up and away....I have a paranoia of riding a plane, thanks to my compilation of Plane hi-jacking movies (AirForce 1, ...., ....., .....). the ride went on smoothly....i never thought it was like this before.

Here comes Shanghai.... the crew announced the temp is at 2 degrees Celsius. Very cold. Good thing i had my winter jacket on...thanks to my sis-in-law for providing me one.

My first stop is Jiaxing... do you know that from Shanghai, it is a 2-hour ride going to JX? Speedy-Tech driver came to fetch me.... and whoops.... he drives soooo fast...grrr...grrr...grrr...and he can't understand my request for him to go slow.... Huhuhuh

When i got at the hotel, my migraine headache attacked once more, during the time when i least wanted it. it ruined my first night, it was sleepless..

The breakfast was fine, though oily, it’s quite delicious. I don’t even know their names, only the dimsum looks familiar. Oh, the string beans, the spicy beans…eating hot and spicy early in the morning, don’t liked it. Then the bevys, now I think the reason why the Chinese have beautiful skin is because of the milk. Yes, they all drink milk in the morning. Don’t know what kind of milk though (soya, fresh cows’, don’t know).

Got to go.... i will tell  you more stories of my China experience on my next blog..
